Indio Armando Front Logo_edited.png

When the conquistadors arrived in Colombia, the Coucuye warriors inhabited the lands of Aguadas. The Spaniards christened these indigenous people with the moniker Armados, a designation based on the distinctive attire they wore and by the way in which they defended their land with honor.

They were recognized as the "Indio Armados" for their unwavering courage, which reflected their identity and strength.

This coffee celebrates their legacy, symbolizing the fight to protect family, land, culture and honor.

In the world of expresso coffee, many brands use inferior coffee that is very dark roasted in an effort to cover its defects.

On the contrary, Indio Armado is crafted using Superior Coffee (high quality) and is roasted to a medium-dark level that highlights flavors of more intense sweetness—reminiscent of toasted sugar—along with a fuller body.

Enjoy a coffee that embodies history, tradition and an authentic flavor.
